Elvis Jocol Lara is the National Director for Marketing & Communications for Latinos For Education, a non-profit organization. He was born and raised in Massachusetts, and is a proud Guatemalan-American. Learning about his family's journey from Guatemala to the United States was key in understanding life, and continues to be a driving force. His leadership and professionalism depict examples of great mentorship, family love and eagerness to help others along the way.
